I do admire this girl with me. This was taken at the orphanage of the missionaries of the poor. And today - a saturday, we went there to help the brothers in some ways we could. Florence , from New York , she is an occupational therapist student and can do much with the physically disabled children. After the work , she was just sharing me that, if she could take some pictures of the children and send it to the 'Syro Malabar church' in Chicago. Her parish priest is very much interested in arranging a medical mission , since they have lot of nurses, doctors, therapists etc at his parish.
But this girl was even dreaming higher. She said she knows a therapist who is working as a therapist for few years, another friend of her and she herself and may be a lot more therapist students who can help the brothers and their house with therapy treatments. She was even dreaming bigger about doing her higher studies to help with the kids having disabilities. And we were even dreaming together of - she in the future arranging continuous medical missions of 'therapists' to Haiti to collaborate with these kind of orphanages - may be especially with the 'Missionaries of the poor'.
Who knows God's plan? He arranges everything for the good of his people. The brothers might need a greater help and Florence and her friends might need a platform to experience His Love in their personal lives. But I do dream bigger for this girl. Something solid is happening in her and she is loving God more than anything here.
